My Hobbies
I am D.T from Northland Primary School. My hobbies are playing chess, swimming, listening to music and playing & watching soccer. I like chess as it is a very interesting game. It has many different tactics. I especially like to use the Sicilian Defence when I play as black. As white, I like the e4 opening. I love my CCA. My CCA is chess. Chess is a very meaningful game, as not only does it train your mind, it also helps you learn new tactics. I am in the school chess team.
I also love swimming. I have achieved the Bronze, Silver & Gold awards. I am now learning the butterfly stroke. I attend swimming lessons every Saturday. I really enjoy swimming as it trains your muscles and also keeps you healthy at the same time. I hope to learn the butterfly stroke as it really looks beautiful.
I love listening to english songs. I tune in to 987FM every Friday to catch up on the newest songs. I usually go to the internet to enjoy the music.
I love playing soccer. I have a beautiful Nike football and I play football at the field outside my school whenever I'm free. I usualy wear jerseys while playing soccer. My favourite team is Chelsea FC. I like their style of play and I really like one of their star players: Michael Ballack. I really like the way he plays and I really want to play like him.
I also like to watch soccer. As I have said before, my favourite team, Chelsea FC, is doing quite well in all three competitions they are in. I closely check on their progress and whenever they play in the weekends, I will watch them. I will rush home on Saturdays to watch them play. I really hope they will catch up on Manchester United in the Premier League. My favourite players in Chelsea FC are Michael Ballack, Didier Drogba, Andriy Shevchenko and Joe Cole.
I also like Robin Van Persie and Rio Ferdinand of Arsenal and Manchester United respectively.
